These are a FEW of the testimonials of people that I have been blessed and honored to be a part of their lives.  Blessed to be a blessing….Linda Hudson

From Jenna Spell- SLU

I am writing to express the impact Mrs. Linda Hudson has made on my life as a spiritual mentor. Mrs. Linda has taught me in the past and shown me the love of Christ. The biggest way Mrs. Linda has acted as a spiritual mentor for me was by making me feel like I never had to be the face of this picture-perfect Christian. I found the need in several other spiritual groups to fit this “mold” as a young Christian woman, and when I didn’t fit this mold, I felt inadequate and not good enough to be a leader or a face for Christianity. Mrs. Linda always showed me a great example of a Godly woman by being herself, showing love to any and everyone, and never being judgmental. This is something I’ve never taken for granted, and I look for this quality in many Christian role models. Mrs. Linda loves first, and that is the most God-like quality a spiritual mentor can possess. “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” – 1 Corinthians 13:13.

It is with great pleasure that I offer my full-hearted recommendation for Linda Hudson. I have known Linda now for seven years. From the day I met her, she has always been a positive and supporting mentor and friend.

Linda is a constant source of truth and light in a very dark world. She has spoken truth into many different situations in my life and I have been made the better because of it. Her heart is always to reach out to people in need and bring truth to them in love, right in the situation they are in. She always has an encouraging word and even when she has had to speak hard things into my life, I have always left her company feeling better than when I came.

She has helped me to set goals in many areas of my life – spiritual, financial, health, etc. She has been a persistent source of guidance in reaching those goals. I recently have gotten a better hold on my finances and have become a homeowner because of her influence and encouragement in helping me to set real and attainable goals.

In my spiritual walk, she has been a person I ask of for wisdom and understanding. She always challenges me to go to the Word and see what Jesus said for myself and then to do what He said. Her heart is always to help draw others to God and to help them in their relationship with Him. She desires for people to see their potential in God and to see themselves the way He sees them.

Through the past seven years, I have also seen Linda walk through some hard life circumstances. She has always handled whatever was thrown her way with grace and strength, all while continuing to help others. Even when she is having a rough time, she always calls to check in on me to see how I am doing and how I’m progressing towards the goals I have set for myself. She consistently challenges me to better myself, taking life one day at a time, accomplishing my goals, one small step at a time.

I believe that Linda would be an exceptional asset to any organization and would be a strong mentor to anyone who is in need of guidance.

To whom it may concern:

Please allow me to use this means to express my sincere appreciation for Linda Hudson.  In 2016 my department launched Operation Angel, a program that allows those suffering from addiction to walk into my police department and simply ask for help.  The officers will help find a treatment program for the individual, usually within minutes of them walking in the door.

Our program was met with tremendous success with over 100 people walking in the front door asking for help.  There was a vital piece of our program that was missing, and that was the follow up with those that have entered the program.  That is where Linda Hudson walks into my life.  Linda saw the important work Operation Angel was doing in our community, but we were missing a piece to our puzzle.  Linda immediately started volunteering her time and on a regular basis, would reach out and even meet with those that have entered the program.  Through her constant follow up, and more than anything, her caring heart, Linda had a way of convincing indivuduals that treatment was the only way they could survive and beat their addiction.

Through her efforts, 39% of the individuals that entered Operation Angel, are clean and sober today!  In addition, Linda has expanded the program to an area that is often overlooked.  Now when we are called to a residence for an overdose, within days Linda is at the home with treatment options for the overdose victim.

Her work is truly remarkable and she is an Angel in her own right.  Because of her, people are alive and well today.  Please let me repeat that statement, because of her people are alive and well today!

I fully support this wonderful lady and whatever lies on the horizon for her.  She is a class act that has touched so many lives, mine included.

If you need any additional information, please don’t hesitate to call me.

Sincerely,

Tim Lentz, M.C.J. Chief of Police Retired–City of Covington

When I think of you Linda the first thing that  comes to my mind is Passionate!!!!  You have such a passion for life!!!!  A passion to serve your friends, husband and family, but most of all your Heavenly Father!!!   If ever I need someone to pray with me, or for me, it would be YOU!!!!!  Your prayers have substance, and those whom you pray for can see and feel the faith, and the passion, that ignites the belief within them, that this prayer will make a change in their circumstance.  You have such a love and desire to see people set free from whatever has them bound!!!!!  You are willing to fight for those who have no fight left in them!!!!  This is why working with those that have been sucked into this life of drugs and alcohol is definitely your true calling!!!!  You are full of love and compassion for those that have been treated wrongly, especially women and single moms.  You can relate in a way that others are not able to and because of that you have a anointing to make a difference in these that God brings your way to minister to.  But I can’t leave out one thing that we have in common over all else…FUN!!!!!…You love to have FUN!!!!!  If ever I need someone to help me get out of a funk you are that someone!!!  You are full of adventure, and fun always follows that adventure!!!!  I am very blessed to call you friend and I cannot wait to make many more wonderful, adventurous and fun memories together!!!!!

Love You BIG,

Dawn

How has Linda changed my life for the better? She most likely didn’t know that I was answering her post for a walking buddy, so that I may gain a friend.  At this moment in my life I was looking for anyone who could relate to me and what I was going through being a new comer to Louisiana.  What she brought to the table was more than I had hoped for.  Her indomitable faith and attitude was exactly what I needed to pull me up and help me to stay positive.  I am very grateful that her light is so bright.  I am blessed and inspired by her spiritual faith.  Alicia George
